Civil Litigation > Cases Handled | Arbitration and Mediation
As court dockets become more clogged and the time and cost required to reach a final settlement of a dispute in the court system lengthens, people and businesses turn to arbitration, mediation, case evaluation and other forms of alternate dispute resolution ("ADR") as a preferred means of dispute resolution.

Jim Mullins serves as a neutral mediator and arbitrator to resolve disputes for parties who are not able to settle their disputes themselves. Jim brings more than thirty years' experience in the private practice of law in Oregon and Washington and an extensive background in business, employment, real estate, personal injury and insurance issues to the ADR process to help parties reach a settlement of their dispute. Jim is an experienced litigator. He has advised and represented many clients involved in Oregon and Washington legal disputes through negotiation, litigation in state and federal courts, and through the ADR process. He is regularly appointed by the Superior Court of Clark County, Washington, to serve as an arbitrator and has been appointed by the court to serve as a Special Discovery Master to supervise discovery issues in complex civil litigation cases.
